I'm from Galion, Ohio and graduated from Galion High School in 2006. I attended Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio and graduated with a degree in Spanish Education in 2010. My junior year of college, I studied abroad in Alcalá de Henares, Spain for 4 months and my senior year of college, I completed student teaching in Española, New Mexico. I finished college a quarter early and was a long-term substitute for Spanish at Galion Middle School and Galion High School. I then moved to Havelock, North Carolina where I taught Spanish 1 and 2 for three years. After three years in Havelock, I moved back to my hometown and taught for four years at Galion High School. While in Galion, I taught Spanish 1, Spanish 2, and a course called Student Success Skills. I graduated in May of 2016 from Bowling Green State University with my Master's in School Counseling and this is my third year as a school counselor at Dowds Elementary School.
